75% of the equipment picked up can be reused. This enables us to offer inexpensive equipment to our customers who cannot afford new or expensive equipment.

At Buyer Area our refurbishment processes includes all of the following:

· Cleaning.
· If necessary, repair, replacement, or addition of parts.
· If necessary, upgrades.

o Upgrades includes the random access memory (“RAM”) and/or the hard disk drive (“HDD”).

o At our facility with our skill set and trained Technicians we are able to replace the motherboard if it is faulty.

We take security of any Data very seriously and use softwares that comply with current Data Destruction Standards.

o Hard drives that are reused should be reformatted in accordance with the Guidelines for Media Sanitization published in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-88 or similar standard.

· Refurbishment work is carried out in a professional and workmanlike manner.
· Refurbishment work complies with WEE policies in place.
· We also have end-of-life management practices that meet the guidelines, policies that are published by the environmental agency
